What is God Like?

Psalm 20

v. 1: God answers when we are in distress and protects us with His name

v. 2: He sends help

v. 3: He remembers our faithfulness

v. 4: It pleases Him to grant us the desires of our hearts and make our plans succeed

v. 6: God gives victory to His anointed; He is a mighty warrior

Psalm 21

v. 1: God has great power; He sends it to grant victory and bring joy.

v. 2: God keeps His promises to grant the desire of our hearts and make our plans succeed

v. 7: He has unfailing love

v. 8-12: God has terrible wrath for His enemies

Psalm 110

v. 1: God does all of the work for His anointed: He fights for Him and defeats all of His enemies

Psalm 116

v. 1: God hears cries for mercy

v. 5: God is gracious, righteous, and full of compassion

v. 6: God protects the unwary

Psalm 117

v. 2: God's love for His people is great and His faithfulness never fails.
