What is God Like?

Psalm 93

v. 1-2: God is an awe-inspiring, powerful, and eternal king

Psalm 96

v. 5: He is a powerful creative God

v. 8: Glory is His due because His name is great

v. 9: He is worthy of worship; He is holy and set apart/unique

v. 10, 13: He is a just Judge of all nations

Psalm 34

v. 4: He is compassionate; He hears and answers prayer

v. 5: His answers bring gladness; He is trustworthy

v 7: He is mighty and protective

v. 8: He is good

v. 9: He is generous and looks after our well-being

v. 13-14: He hates evil tongues, liars, evil and strife; he loves goodness and peace.

15: He is watchful and attentive towards those whoa re just

16: He is the sworn enemy of those who do evil.

v. 18: He is close to the broken hearted

v. 19: He may allow trouble in a righteous person's life but He will deliver them faithfully from them all.

v. 22: He takes responsibility for those who trust in him and rescues His servants.
