What is God Like?

Psalm 80

v. 1: He relates to His people like a shepherd to a flock of sheep (leading & protecting)

v. 2: He is enthroned in heaven in splendor

v. 3: He is mighty

v. 4: His just anger can lead Him to ignore prayers for help

v. 5: He turns people over to the consequences of their deeds but can be calle dupon for forgiveness and restoration

Psalm 77

v. 9: He does not forget mercy and compassion when He is angry

v. 13: His ways are set apart/holy

v. 14: He performs miracles to display His power

v. 15: He uses His power to redeem

v. 16-19: The elements respond to His command

Psalm 79

v. 5: God feels jealous of those who have entered a relationship with Him and His wrath can be provoked.
