Psalm 78:1-39; 48-72

v. 4: He does praiseworthy deeds, He is powerful, and has done wonders

v. 7: He has done these deeds so that many generations will trust Him; He wants to earn our trust; He wants to be remembered and He wants to be obeyed

v. 8: He looks for loyal hearts

v. 38: He is merciful in the face of extreme provocation

v. 58: Idolatry moves Him to jealous wrath; He wants exclusivity
